Invalid License

Using PGNP with MS SQL Server, Data Transformation Services (DTS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Linked Servers, Snapshot and Transactional Replication and more.

Invalid License

Postby Netregistry » Wed Dec 19, 2012 5:04 pm

I bought and install PGNP Server Edition. When built the linked server in SQL Server 2008 to link a PostgreSQL database, I got error message as below:

Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "PGNP" for linked server "ConsoleDB".
OLE DB provider "PGNP" for linked server "ConsoleDB" returned message "Invalid License". (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)

Can you please tell me how to fix it?

Thanks,

The problem is fixed.

The system administrator reinstalled the PGNP software and need to activate it again.

License may become invalid when some system parameter changed, for example, memory size or the computer name. In that case please reactivate the product again.
